The study exhibition, "Modernization at the edge of the Empire: Zagreb industrial heritage from 1862 to 1918", has been divided into four thematic units. It tries to define the historical context, the meaning and the consequences which the process of industrialization left upon the city of Zagreb and its inhabitants until the end of World War I. In addition, it presents the current state of affairs of the twelve industrial structures / complexes built until 1918, their protection system and future outlook determined by the contemporary Master Plan and detailed zoning plans of each of the city areas.

EXHIBITION OF STUDENTS’ WORKS ON REUSE OF PALAEOINDUSTRIAL COMPLEXES IN ZAGREB

Exhibition of student's works on function and content reuse of industrial structures is a result of a collaborative effort between the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb and Zagreb City Museum relating to a project entitled Zagreb industrial heritage: history, state of affairs, outlook. The student's works were created over the past nine years in the architectural / town planning workshop, as part of the curriculum of the Architectural design department, mentored by the head of department Academician Velimir Neidhardt, PhD, Vesna Mikić, PhD and Ljiljana Šepić, MSc.

The exhibition, "The Beginnings of the Zagreb Brewery", is a result of the partnership between the Zagreb City Museum and the Zagrebačka pivovara d. d. on the project entitled Zagreb industrial heritage: history, state of affairs, outlook. The exhibited copies of photographs and drawings present the beginnings of operation and the Company history until World War II.
